Law Offices of Daniel R. Rosen Sponsors Successful Kids Charity Benefit
Thanks to the “Git-R-Done” for Kids Golf Tournament, the Lewis & Floorwax Kids Foundation, Inc. will be able to help more children in need. Sponsored by the Daniel R. Rosen law firm, the event took place at The Pinery Country Club in Parker, Colorado, on Monday, August 19.
The golf tournament featured hole-in-one prizes, long drive, closest to the pin, a live auction, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and lunch. The registration fee of $800 per foursome included a gift package, dinner, free drinks, and 4-person scramble. To be a corporate sponsor, businesses paid a $2,000 fee in exchange for foursome, hole sign, and recognition at ceremony.
Denver, Colorado, radio legends Rick Lewis and Michael Floorwax, of 103.5 FM, created the Lewis & Floorwax Kids Foundation (L&F Kid’s Fund) in 2003. The Fund’s mission is to donate money directly to children and families-with-children in the Denver metropolitan area for medical bills, clothing, school supplies, food, or any other need the children are experiencing.
In order to make sure the funds go directly to children in need, everyone who works for the foundation is a volunteer donating his or her time. L&F Kid’s Fund has no overhead and no administrative costs. Thanks to the generosity of donors and radio listeners, the Fund has been able to pay hospital bills and power bills for struggling families, and buy medical and athletic equipment.
If you would like to donate to the Lewis & Floorwax Kids Foundation, your contribution will be put to good use, helping children in need. You can contact the foundation on its website and Facebook page.
